Y ou’ve reached the End, the most eastern point on Long Island. What started out as a bustling fishing village, soon morphed into a surfer’s paradise and sadly now has become a little too corporate Williamsburg-y for my liking. Like a Millennial Pink tote from Urban Outfitters that says “YOLO” on it. I wouldn’t go during a summer weekend, unless that’s your thing (…and then go with God #blessed.) That said, there are some great old holdovers and, of course, the gorgeous state park surrounding the 18th century Montauk Lighthouse. Definitely worth visiting, but go off-season or during the week.
